Dr. Aslami
Dr. Aslami has been an entrepreneur for over 35 years. His experience includes taking two companies from start up to public in the field of fiber optic in the US. He has been involved in several acquisitions and establishing joint ventures and subsidiaries throughout his career in the US, Europe, South America and Asia.
Over the past 10 years he has been involved in the development and/or acquisition of technologies in the renewable energy field, especially solar and biomass. He is currently involved in the commercialization of these technologies.
Solar Alliance Group / SolarFuze: (2019-Present)
Managing Member of Solar Alliance Group (“SAG”) a company set up by Solar Fuze, Inc., Mechatron, Inc. (a Northern California based solar company engaged in patented manufacturing of Dual Axis Tracking system for solar power plants), Energy Alliance of North America (a Michigan Based Renewable Energy Company), and Ariana, Inc. (an ~40 year old Massachusetts based company involved in developing and promoting various technologies through sister companies). SAG is primarily set up to promote products and services of both SolarFuze and Mechatron.
SolarFuze, Inc. is highly successful California based solar company engaged in the design, development, installation and maintenance of residential, commercial and utility scale solar power plants over the past 15 years. More recently it has developed an ultrafast EV Charging stations that is capable of charging EV’s in 15 minutes and under 10 minutes. Some models that are slower are suitable for apartment buildings and condominium.
US Green Technologies, Inc. / Swift EVC, Inc.: (2017 to 2019)
President/CEO Swift EVC, Inc. Plans to build commercial solar power plants in a Joint Venture with US GREEN Technologies, Inc. (“USG”), a California based solar energy company. USG designs, and builds Residential and Commercial Solar Power Plants converting solar energy into electricity. USG is one of the leading solar energy companies in Southern California. Swift EVC terminated its activities into the commercial solar power plant market, primarily due to limited resources.

US SolarTech, Inc. (2008-2016): President/CEO and co-founder
US SolarTech, Inc. developed technologies to manufacture high purity silica for fiber optic industry, and silicon for solar industry at substantially lower cost than the existing technologies. The processes are being commercialized in a Joint Venture in the Bahamas.
From 1981 to 2008 Dr. Aslami co-founded several companies in the field of fiber optics. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of FiberCore a publicly listed company, as well as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of FiberCore’s subsidiary FC Jena in Germany. Prior to FiberCore, he was a co-founder, director and executive vice president of engineering and manufacturing with SpecTran Corp., a publicly traded manufacturer of optical fiber in the U.S., which was later acquired by Lucent and ultimately by Furakawa of Japan.
Prior experience includes technical management positions at Corning, Inc. (1974-1980). He has published several articles and has authored, and co-authored several patents relating to fiber optic manufacturing and fiber optic related processes and products, as well as the US SolarTech’s primary plasma based patents for manufacturing pure silicon, crystalline silicon ingot and thin film.
Dr. Aslami’s academic experience includes teaching at the University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on a two year sabbatical from Corning, Inc., and 5 years at the University of Cincinnati as Graduate Teaching Assistant (1969-74)
Dr. Aslami was the recipient of the Businessman of the year award from Massachusetts by the Republican National Committee in 2003
Dr. Aslami holds a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University (1968), an M.S. degree in 1971, and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati (1974).
